this is another word for telemarketing surveys for knowledge of paid suppliers to get an answer from the customers or general public to see what the demand is for example the loius harris polls or phone companys that call u etc its fro research and marketign purposes to get the demand and wht the people want to market items more efficiently or other subjects to learn about
