Intimidated?

Simple human nature, you are humble which is a good trait but not by the worlds standards. You're intimidated because you feel who or what is stronger than you or who or what makes you vulnerable. Its okay to be intimidated, most people think this is weakness but thats not true. I am not God so how can I be all big and tough. Ask those people who are all big and bad if death intimidates them, if they say no, they're lyin.

It is essentially a form of fear.
It is a form of fear that seems based upon perceived power. For example, I might be intimidated by a girl because of her sexual attractiveness - if it reduces my power or control over my behaviour or emotions.
Similarly, a person might be intimidated due to another's intellectual powers. They might feel less control over the conversation or dealings with the person.
That is my best guess!
Good question, its interesting trying to define words that we all use, but dont really bother trying to understand fully.

aren't we all.. we all live w/ some fear... must come from remembering our failures, lack of self confidence, or true understanding of our short commings... dont let it stop you though... they other guy is just as intimidated... fake it... or just kick 'em in the ........!

Lack of knowledge. I was always taught in the military that knowledge is the fear killer.
