I used to be on top of my blog. I knew what topics to write about. I knew what subjects would draw people in. Now I'm so unsure. I feel like I've lost all my blog readers. I know people are busy and they don't have time to read my blog..I just wonder what can I do to keep my blog interesting. I guess I'm asking what kind of topics and subjects are people interested in reading about? Men and women...

Well it's not always the topics but how they're told and the style the blogger uses.
There are a lot of blogs that deal with the same topics. so you have to make your blog stand out somehow, or different in some way if you want to get a lot of readers who don't know you personally.
Plus if you're writing a blog then I don't think you should force yourself into writing about certain topics just to get more readers. You should be having fun with your blog and expressing yourself and your thoughts and opinions.
But if you really want some possible topics personal stories about interesting or annoying co-workers or odd happenings are always fun to read about. Entertainment and sports are always popular topics. Personal stuff like love life, work life, family life are usually things that people like to read about and can relate too. Politics and current events also would likely interest a large group of people.

Blogs are like bowel movements. Interest is peaked when you need to make one and no one cares after it's over. I would suggest humor in your blog. People always need a good laugh. I love George W. Bush so much that I have a poster of him in my room. I keep it covered in plastic so that when I finish worshiping him, I can just wipe it off and start again. Now there.... is a subject for a blog

To be honest with you, I have never fully understood blogs. The ones I read are people I know, and it is a way to keep up on their lives. Sad, I know. We live in a technology age that allows us to be that lazy. Anyway, I really have no answer for you, but if you find out let me know because I would love to know what blogs are supposed to be about.

james wants to know if you want people to just read your blog or is there something that you actually want them to know? he thinks that you have to have a cause. he says that if your not biased then your not a good journalist. i'm not sure i agree - i might tell you to just write about good movies and good movies and good food and where to buy cheap stuff and whether or not there is flouride in the water to poisen everyone.

I like stories or poems.....interesting one's. I don't like hearing about day to day life, if nothing interesting happened don't just write for the hell of it.
