When you were first together..... How long did it take he/she to tell you they loved you? Also, how long had you dated before the marriage proposal? And did the marriage last or are you divorced. One month before he told me he loved me. The day he asked me to go together he told me he would marry me (I thought he was crazy). Four years later he asked me to marry him and we got married a year later. Mind you, we were very young (15 and 17 when we first got together) and I was reluctant to marry because both my parents were divorced twice. Last week we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary.

He told me within the first few weeks. We dated almost 2 1/2 years before he proposed. We are still extremely happy and in love.

It took only 3 weeks. We dated off and on for 3years before marriage. We are currently together and in December it will be 3years married. Our relationship was a rocky one at first, but we have made it through and are doing great.

It took about a month to hear "i love you". We dated about 10 years( ya think that's long enough?). We are still married over 15 years....Proposal came along after 3 months.

Well we started talking in nov 99, and then she actually told me she loved me in january, and then we were engaged in feb 2000, and then we were married june 2000, and we have been married since, its been 6 years. Then one thing that most people are suprised about when i tell this is that we met on yahoo personals after i posted an ad. Most people I knew at the time, bet that we wouldnt make it 6 months but i guess i showed them wrong.

This is by no means normal, and I would not suggest that anyone gaudge thier love life based on my answer, but. I love you after two weeks, proposal after four months and wedding at seven. Still happily married for nearly four years.

not long enough!!!! i should have waited at least a year before i married him. i believe i have made a big mistake. this is my second marriage and the first was not, i was married a long time and very happy. it was a good marriage. i waited five years ,and i thought i was careful, but he fooled me he is not the person he pretended to be.

Well, I think he told me he loved me the first date. We had 3 dates and he proposed to me 20,000 miles away and we have been married almost 25 years!!!!!!!!!!

About a year before he said he loved me, and then tricked me into jokingly proposing to him. Which he held me to, but we've been married now 5 years.

Knew my husband for two years dated for two weeks before we said i love you engaged 6 mo later married after dating one year and been married now for almost 8 years. I can't say it has always been easy but it has all been worth it. we have two beautiful daughters and still are hot for one another.
