What are they thinking??? I think this whole thing is just a media scare to get the public to quickly comply and go along with any other stupidity the government can think of next! Are we going to sit here and get spoon fed crap or will we live our lives the way we should!?
If the possible threatening liquids at the airports are truly explosive, why are they emptying them out in the same bin?? It'll go off right there in the airports!! This is ridiculous, I tell you. We need to open our eyes and really analyze the news before we can absorb its non-sense material. Something just doesn't make sense here!

Do you all truly believe this British story about promptly arresting well-organized "terrorists" who were about to blow-up planes? The last time the British government appeared that heroic and efficient, they shot and killed an innocent and unarmed man just out and about his business. You know what I think? I think this tale is simply a ploy to boost government image and divert attention from governmental blunders. The USA does the same whenever a president's rating is very low - they suddenly set out to bomb some nation or group to hopefully impress the gullibles.

What are you talking about?? These terrorists were going to make a bomb using household cleaning products such as: Clorox, Pine sol, Peroxide, Hair gel and then mix it together in a gatorade sports drink bottle.
There were no actual materials or weapons. Just household cleaning supplies.
PS: Mix Gasoline and Clorox together.. you will blow your own head off.

On the news it said that in some british airport ((i think)) they found expolives and such and many thought it was just people trying to scare off the passangers and everyone else.

well for one thing, I don't think they are going to allow anyone to pick up the bin, mix the chemicals, and then rig up a crude triggering device to it. That is what would happen if they got the correct chemicals on the plane.

You would have to mix the 2 liquids together in the same container. They are essentially harmless in separate containers.
