sorry to break it to you but, he is!
many people define their "acceptance" of races as just being a mutual relationship between blacks and whites ONLY.
but, isn't the current situation involving BUSH and the middle east, in fact, a form of "acceptable" racism?
don't we, as the american people, look at middle easterns a little bit differently NOW then 10 years ago?
that, in some cases, throwing ridiculous, unsupported suspicions towards people of this nationality is almost looked at as being our "patriotic duty"?

yes he is. he is saying that a RACE is promoting terrism and its not. its a FEW people in a organisation whose homeland george bush has decided to attack and murder. the 'war on terrism' isn't even a war on terrism anymore, its all about the oil they have in the middle east.

Typical liberal BS = Blame Bush for everything , this week it is racism.
The basic fact is, I feel no different about middle eastern people
than I did 10 or even 20 years ago. I met many persons of different races while serving in the Navy. Some were great people , some were okay and some were just plain jerks.
The point our government was trying to make and all the liberal idiots missed was " If it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck suspect the duck , not the parrot"
So if a middle eastern person flies a plane into a building why waste you time stopping a 80 year old Asian woman at the airport?
But don't worry to make the liberals feel good our government will waste tons of taxpayers money searching everyone so you aren't offended and don't cry RACISM.

I'm not treating anyone any differently. You mentioned the middle eastern thing. I was asking my dad today why the only people I have seen the government accuse of terrorist attacks have been middle easterners. There were three different cases on the news today of middle easterners being suspected of plotting terrorist attacks and all three of them were let off on no evidence. My dad said the reason they have been targeting them is because the middle easterners are the ones who are doing most of the terrorist attacks. That isn't true. They do some but not most of them. I got so mad when I heard that because that is racist. I think it is completely unacceptable. I'm from America and we should all be treated equally.

Slowly but surely, this form of "racism" (or religious intolerance) is being accepted by the American people.
Americans don't like to admit this, but it is true.
Once upon a time, my father taught me a word exercise. He said that if someone makes a statement about a group of people, then just change the group in question from one group to another group. If the statement then becomes quite offensive, then it's blatant racism.
Example: "We will fight the Islamic Fascists".
Now change the word Islamic to Christian, and the statement becomes "We will fight Christian Fascists." I bet most folks are offended by that. As they should. But so should they be offended by the first statement.

If you Americans don't want George Dubbya, send him over here; I would cheerfully vote for the man as the next PM of Britain.
No kidding.
George Dubbya has done more to raise the status of America in the eyes of a great many Brits than all the limp-wristed, spineless liberals who try to bring the stars and the stripes in to disrepute with their never ending waffling.
Just as well we don't fall for all that woolly propaganda eh?

Sorry, George Bush can't make anyone a racist. You have your own mind and control how you feel about other people. I was brought up to respect people of all races and nationalities. If everyone would try to get along, than we would have peace, not war.

I don't think it necessarily comes from GW but he does show a basic level of ignorance regarding Asian religious practice.
Comparative religion should be taught in schools; the basic beliefs and principles without further biased interpretation.
Might go some way to removing the basic mistrust which others are quick to capitalize on.

I hate Bush, but he's not the one making everyone racist -- they're doing it themselves. It's definitely true that since the 9/11 attacks, many people have become racist against middle eastern people, but that's not Bush's doing. Yes, it's wrong, but it's one of the few things wrong with this country we can't blame on him.
