Why does anyone at all trust any politician nevermind George W. Bush?

shouldn't people look at what politicians do and not what they say? there always full of rhetoric that's just politics but why don't blue collar republicans see him and there own party for what they are (based on what they've done and failed to do and who's benifiting and who's suffering, the rich getting richer and the blue collar working man and poor losing out.)

It's really difficult to trust any politician these days (and probably earlier times too) because all they do seems to stem from greed of power and money - not the good of the people. Wish someone could show me I'm wrong.

you can only trust a politician as much as you can trust a person. Limited. The system is what is so crooked. Many people go into politics to help but the system impeads them.

The sad fact of the matter is, it isn't just the politicians who should take the blame. Any of us who fail to work hard and reach our potential, those of us who thru our own laziness expect those that apply them selves or succeed in life to pay our way are at fault. Politicians just promise us what we are to lazy to get for ourselves.

Politicians look after politicians....they no more have the general publics welfare in mind than I care about any politician. They are simply employees supposed to be doing the job that I pay them to do...I don't know how they ever received "star" status.

Do you believe in self-reliance, or the nanny-government? Decoy, that's what power does to some people, corrupts them.

I believe Bush to be quite humble and truthful in his dealing with world events. Whereas, Clinton thought that his leadership meant instant hookers.
