I personally don’t think that it is. What happened that day left an indelible mark on our country and really each of our lives. The effects will remain with the country, and even the world, forever. In my opinion, the stories must be told. However, I do understand that it is incredibly difficult for many people to watch and that some people feel that it is too soon. I am curious how other people feel. What do you think?

I agree that the scars that we each have due to 9/11 are indelible, and we will always have remorse and some recollection of these feelings, however, it is important that we have a reminder perhaps of what exactly happened on that infamous day. What we so desperately need is for closure, which is achieved through reflecting on what has happend, while moving on, with comfort of knowing that we have conquered, and done so together. It is never to soon to begin to heal, rather, it is always too soon to forget.

Yes, it's too early, and it's a shame that Hollywood must make a buck out of a horrible tragedy that indeed changed our very lives. I was planning to see "World Trade Center" and "United 93" but I decided not to support Hollywood because every time I see the WTC on fire, it makes me cry because of all the innocent people who died that day. September 11, 2001 is the saddest day in the United States of America. Directors have no business exploiting it on the big screen.

Sorry, I disagree. Even though it is 5 years in the past, it still is a bit early. I agree with what you say in that it left a huge mark on our country's past, present, and future. But, think of all the families who lost so much. Do you think they want to see their loved ones being portrayed on tv being killed? yes, many were very heroic, but i still think that many families are not too pleased. In 10 years, maybe. But the war/conflict from that is still going on. I think that has a lot to say about the timing.

Maybe, but is there a right time? Some people are against it, but they have no problem watching a Holocaust movie. Which is a worse terrorist act, myself. And fictional movies about terrorism, they have no problem with that either.

If its difficult for people to watch, then they just shouldn't watch it. They can rent it in 10 years if they wish.

From what I've heard is that the movie portrays that day in a very respectable way. I think this movie will be a good chance for people to get in touch with their inner feelings, and will experience life at a more positive level in the future. It's very important for people to let go their stress, fears, or anger about something. I think this movie will be a good form of ventilation for some.

I saw "WTC" and "United 93", and it still feels a little too early. But the movies are truly honoring heroes and respectful about what happened, so I think it's okay. After all, nobody forces you into the theatre. You go if you are ready.

I think that something such as what happened on 9/11, the Holocaust and any atrocious act from the past should NEVER be put in a movie just to make the producers and creators richer on the account of those that have suffered losses and still are... I think it is very selfish and disgusting that they make movies of such things.

No, NO and No. People tend to forget that terrible day, especially with all the crap that's going on in Afghanistan and Iraq, they need to be reminded of why we're after the bastards. In Canada we have a saying for Remembrance Day where we remember all the Veterans that fought for the freedom we enjoy: "Lest we forget".
That applies to the WTC also. Never forget, keep it fresh!!
