Me, not because I'm arrogant, but because I would love to have a chance to explore my world in print.
If I had to choose an author already in print, I choose Marian Keyes. She has a way of making truth into fiction and is very entertaining. She hails from Ireland and has just published another book. One of the first that I read was "Under the Duvet", I think her latest is "Anybody Out There".
I guess I would like my life, with all it's ups and downs, good times and bad, made into a comedic look at life while still viewing the sad things through reality. Marian Keyes can make that happen.

Well, I consider John Lennon to be one of the greatest British authors ever. Even if he never wrote a proper book, he certainly wrote enough songs to fill multiple books. Also J.D. Salinger, if he would only come out of hiding. I love Catcher in the Rye. Oh and Truman Capote...and Harper Lee...and Edgar Allan Poe. And Roald Dahl, just for kicks.

Hmm...I think either Sandra Cisneros or Judy Blume. Better yet both because my life is pretty much a combination of the style those two write.

The author in which i would like to write a story about me is my friend named Jessica cause I know it would be compelling as hell much more honest then of recent... not to mention all the underlying material.

I would have to go the opposite and pick Janet Evanovich. My life is a comedy of errors.

Danielle Steele. Though I'm not a huge fan of her books, her heroines are always beautiful and kind, fall in love and wind up rich.
