That cable is out of date for each reason in additional moderen hardware. The audio archives is dispensed on the PCI bus. Wave files are as digital as MP3 , the version is compression. Throw the stupid twine away.

Only if you want the software to be able to burn to it or watch DVDs. (If you are missing the CD, go to the manfucturer's website and they will have it for downloading for free.

No, but it helps to have a program like NERO or an equivelent if you would like to have skins or label makers. If it is a "lightscribe" I would say yes though!

no but if you want it to work right you may need it.you can try it before you install the software and if it doesn't work right you need to install the software.

ide drives run on stock windowz drivers.
