That's almost $400.00 for a security deposit! WOW . I don't think I have seen one that high before. What I would do if I were you is maybe call around to various companies that offer those types of services and ask how much they charge for those types of jobs.
That sounds a little ridiculous to me. I am referring to all of those, I sincerely believe you are being taken down the road. Call the better business bureau in your area and see what they suggest and again, call around and get some estimates from other companies.

Look at your lease to see what is specified. Generally, if you leave the premises in the same condition in which you found them you should receive your security deposit. However, most leases are very landlord friendly, and there's not much you can do other than small claims court if you don't like what they have to say.

My advice is to examine your lease for the terms of your security deposit refund, and call your landlord to nicely and respectfully express your intent to comply with all of those terms and see what they say from there.

Good luck!

If you plan on doing them all yourself then there all unjustified. I would explain to your landlord you plan on doing all this cleaning yourself and that you are counting on the return of your security deposit. Explain to the landlord they are free to inspect the job once you've finished and see what they say. With those prices I can tottally see why you wanna do it yourself.
