That's normal. Now, by PMS do you mean Pre Menstrual Syndrome or do you mean your period? Either way it's normal, you may have had a slight change in your diet or you may be under more stress than usual or it may be nothing at all. But you probably ought to look up and learn about what PMS is because I'm not sure from your question if you know.

As life continues and women get older, their body goes through many changes. When I was fourteen, it lasted 7 days, after I had children it went to 5 days, and now it is at 3 days. Most of the time this is normal and you have just reached another cycle of change. It can sometimes mean you are pregnant, though usually the following month there will not be a period at all, then again, I had a friend that had one her whole pregnancy. Going to a gynecologist for a pap smear test and pregnancy test should relieve all your concerns and tell you for sure. This is what I would recommend.

You mean her period? PMS isnt the same thing as a period, its the symptoms of the period before it starts.
Anyway, a short period usually doesnt mean much of anything. Womens cycles change from time to time, and usually every 7 years or so.
Women just dont cycle like the tide, the same every month.. it just doesnt work that way.
The best way to avoid an unwanted pregnancy is to not have sex, or use protection such as condoms. The best way to tell if a woman is pregnant is to wait until after her expect period and try a home test, or better yet have blood work done at a local doctors office.
A shortened, skipped, lenthened, lighter, heavier period from time to time is perfectly normal.

its very strange how women today have pms. It did not exist in my youth. My tummy bloated a bit and we were always afraid that our period would not come ontime because contraception was unreliable but the only pre menstrual tension we had was wondering if we were pregnant this month, and boy were we tense until it came, because for some reason,,, we did NOT want to be pregnant. It seems that we spent our whole youth trying not to be. As a matter of fact I haven't got a clue what you are talking about and I suspect neither do you

I see you don't know what PMS is - it is pre-menstrual syndrome, some women get symptoms two weeks before their period. It is called your period, or menstruation, when you are bleeding. I think you need to get some information. Talk to your mom and do some reading....
