out of these would the exact value of sin 45 be the first two ie 1/sqrt (2) and sqrt (2) /2?????

You are correct.

sin 45 = 1 / (sqrt 2) = (sqrt 2) / 2

Only 1/sqrt2

Hypotneus is Sqrt2, two other sides are 1.
Sin x = opposite/hypotneus.
Sin 45 = 1/sqrt2
