I like and respect someone that looks at what both sides stands for, and then makes their OWN decision. If they choose opposite of me, then so be it - I would still have respect for them making their own choice. Too many don't do that today.

Of the two, the person who hates everybody is less likely to cause further division between different groups of people.

But wouldn't like that person, because I don't enjoy being around those who just hate others.

Hatred doesn't help. If you don't like something, speak out against it. If it's causing problems (like terrorism), put an end to it.

But hatred just eats at the soul into we are no better than those we hate. And that never helps anyone.

someone who hates no one. We shouldn't go around labelling each other and hating each other because we disagree on big, abstract political ideas. United we stand, yes, but divided we fall. And we are so very divided right now.
