I think often they are, especially initially. However many "ugly" people have risen above that. I think in the end, how you carry yourself has the biggest influence on how people treat you. I know in my own life, I've met people who at first I found to be physically unattractive, however I quickly became attracted to them in one way or another based on how they carried themself.

I wouldnt deny this. it happens...as people say: first look counts. its human nature that they behave in such a way. its only later, after encountering that they change their opinion. BUt initial stage YES, they are treated better than ugly people.

That is what many people value unfortunately, and our society has become quite pathetic with our ideals, however, there are some people who do not evaluate a person based on such features such as myself.

yep. and its not only pretty and ugly... experiment with clothes one day: wear a nice collared shirt, designer shoes or bag, expensive glasses. the next day go out in an oversized t shirt and shorts with messy hair. the reactions are totally different.

Yes but we get used more... I have been luckily enough to find a guy who met me at my worst so I know he isn't with me just for my looks. But so many years of guys just using me because I'm "pretty"... Many years being unhappy because of that.

Define treated better. Sometimes being pretty can get you sexually or physcially assaulted, sometimes it can lose you friends, sometimes it can get you taken advantage of and used. Sometimes you can be treated better, but it comes at a high price.
