Let's get things straight... I am a 16 year old kid who IS GOING TO WAIT FOR MARRIAGE BEFORE SEX!! Now that we're clear... I've heard some about people trimming their pubic hair... Of course i've heard of shaving but i'm not concerned about that. Why do guys trim their pubic hair? (Sex-related??) I don't have an awful lot of pubic hair (i'm no werewol!) But i was wondering what the purpose of doing it was and if i should be trimming mine. Any information??

Congratulations on your decision to wait.
I trim (not shave) and have done so since my late teens. I began because it made for easier tick and chigger inspection after working on the farm or hiking, but discovered that it was cooler and more comfortable. I haven't gotten any feedback from my wife on other benefits.

The reason why we women ask you to shave down there is so that when we are 'going down on you' we don't get a mouthful of public hair. You don't really need to be trimming, especially as no one will be looking at you. You could trim if you like, it's a personal thing. If you do, it makes wiping your a*** easier. >LOL

Well, my man shaves and it feels so good when we DO make love.. if you aren't having sex, I really don't see reason to trim or shave.... If you DO shave, be careful because of razor burn and such..... if you trim, that's fine, so there's no difference.

i'm not sure but i think if you shave your pubic hair it grows back thicker. if i'm wrong then i'm wrong. no need to get mad.
