Here's the deal: I went to the waterslides today and (stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid) forgot to put sunscreen on my face. I eventually got it on, but after I'd spent several hours without it. My face is horribly, horribly red. All of it. It doesn't hurt, it just looks terrible. And I have to sing in front of a small audience tomorrow. But not on a stage, in a small room in front of them. I don't have any foundation or concealer. Does anybody know how I can get rid of it fast? Or at least just hide it until I've performed?

First, by Glimra Sun Soothe. It neutralizes the stinging which may diminish the redness in your face. Bare Minerals as well as Ben Nye carry sunburn specific concealers. I'd go with bare minerals, as it has a more natural ingrediant list.

Get a concealer with a green base so that it takes the red look out. I burn at least once a year. That usually helps me. Hopefully tomorrow it will have simmered down a bit. Good luck. If that doesn't work, just wear a hockey mask.....j/k ;)

I did the same thing the day before graduation and was all red. There's no way to get rid of it overnight, but keep using aloe and moisturizer. It will make it a lot less red. Just keep your skin moisturized and it should turn to tan within a few days.

Put aloe Vera on it and it will keep it hydrated and help it heal faster. As for hiding it I would advice a powder or concealer a shade lighter than you would normally where.

Aloe is right! And I'd go with layers of foundation on my face and then dot and dab concealer around my eyes until it was blended.

try gettin in a hot shower or puttin really hot water on your face. it usually gets rid of sum color. its a little painful but worth it. Q why in the world dont you have any foundation, atleast for emergency cases? dont you have any girlfriends near by to lend you sum? the hot water wont get rid of it all. i hope it helps, good luck tomorrow!

just blag it and make everyone feel at ease including yourself, try whatever sounds best to you from your question then also just tell your audience before you start, " please excuse my appearence but I have recently been working on a with and without sun screen commercial" most will know it's not the case and see the humour diffusing the "hey what's wrong with her face?" whisphers.....smile and anything is possible
