I have never met any gay terrorists. Do we really have that much to fear from Ted and Steve? (Presume they are Americans for the sake of discussion...)

It is completely ridiculous to say that Republicans make it their "MAIN objective." Does that really make the slightest bit of sense to you, or are you merely a left-wing propagandist trying to make the party look foolish -- only making yourself that in the process?!?!

In case you've forgotten, during the televised 2004 Presidential Debate, the moderator asked both Bush and Kerry whether or not they thought that homosexuality is a choice. Bush said, "I don't know." Does that sound like someone demonizing homosexuality? How many different ways has Bush been "demonizing homosexuality"?????

P.S.
I'm gay.

I think you're generalizing a little bit.
My main objectives:
1. Fighting terrorism over their so it can't come back here.
2. Reducing my tax burden
3. Reducing the size of government.
4. Keeping government out of my business
5. Protecting the Bill of Rights, as they were written.
6. Protecting my countries borders.
OK
7. Ted and Steve

I don't really care what they do in their bedroom. But don't you dare call it marriage. Words have meaning.

It's not there main objective. It's a political tactic. They do to play to that part of their base that thinks homosexuality is sinful and a threat to "their way of life". If you put gay marriage on the ballot, certain people will go to the polls just to vote against it. This is called "energizing the base."

Nice list Nuke...but your guy is failing on 4 out of 6 and only gets a C for the other two

Obviously your head has been placed so far up your anus, you are unable to see that the two main objective is

1. the war on terror.
2. Iraq
3. Immigration

Please remove your head, and see what is really going on before you ask questions.

Not sure I understand where you are coming from. There are people from all political parties and walks of life who find homosexual activities to be dirty and nasty. Nothing wrong with somebody feeling that way. I'm sure there are things that make your stomach turn when you think about it. I don't think it has anything to do with homophobia (I'm not even sure there really is such a thing as homophobia). Are people really afraid of homosexuality or do they just find it unnatural.

Republicans try to cater to the religious right (which ironically are usually wrong). Although I doubt Homosexuality is at the top of their agenda, they like to use it to perpetuate the "us" versus "them" mentality, splitting the country on trivial things and continue fear mongering to get Middle America's vote.

they don't, that's NOT their main objective, i believe the main objective is terrorism/war in iraq. i think you're wrong on that, most honest democrats will agree to that too, that republicans will use that to try to help them keep/gain power, and democrats will also use that to help them gain power.

People fear that which they don't understand. Is a basic human trait. So don't just say republican. there are just as many Dem homophobes as rep homophobes.
