Crayons are made with wax. They pour it into trays, let it cool, and do other things. They aren't flavored because wax is one of the few things that scents cannot be put into for drawing.

Crayons are made out of wax. They are not flavored because people are not meant to eat wax.

Do you mean flavored or scented? Scented would be kinda fun. They're not flavored because they're not intended to be edible. Go to Crayola.com to see how they're made. There's a secret ingredient though that they won't disclose..saw it on a special last week.
