how long does it usually take for an album to download on a 1 GB ipod nano?

It depends on your connection speed. If you have a dialup, unfortunately it could take a while.

To download on the internet, it depends on internet connection. To send it to ipod it depends on you usb port type. It dosent matter what kind of ipod you have.
