body will reject it..he has all these unpaid medical bills..my question is what can i do to raise some money there was already a benefit for him..but if i were to go from store to store or even a bank can they donate money??

stores and banks are unlikely to donate money. Your best bet is to ask people. One on one. Have another benefit, beef and beers always work.

Start a fund. Get the media involved. Then ask stores by mailing the information to the PR departments.

Look online at organizing fundraisers.

You might try putting up decorated tin cans for fundraising next to the cash registers at local businesses so that customers can put their spare change in it. Have you talked to the local TV station about maybe doing a human interest story on your friend? Or the local newspaper?
