.58 cents a gallon in Nebraska, 1988
I'm from Canada.. not sure what it was in 88
i know when i got my license, in 2004ish, it was 80 cents a litre
now it is 122.9/litre

if you were born in 1981, the average price was around 3.50 something, after you adjust for inflation, so all these news reports that say its a record, its just the liberal media lying to us to try and help make bush look bad. you can't just say its at a record, becuase so is wages, you have to adjust for inflation.
