Croatia is the most beautiful country in Europe which I have visited (been to over 20). And I've only seen one small part of the country. I droved down the Adriatic Coast from Rijeka near the Italian border to Dubrovnik. Some of the most beautiful coastal scenery I've ever seen. Dubrovnik is the most amazing city - walking along the old city walls, look at the red roofs, the restoration since the war has been well done. There are so many more things I hope to go back again.

Been to Croatia many times and found the Adriatic coast area IS very nice, but Zagreb is nothing to write home about and certainly not the cheapest place in Europe. Same goes for Belgrade. Watch out 4 all the pea and thimble con men, they r every where. You should go as every country has something unique to offer and summer on the coast is a great holiday. Slovenia is also worth a visit.

I was born there, small town on Adriatic sea. Very beautiful. I don't know how objective can I be. But one thing for sure-it is much cheaper than other places. A lot to do, a lot to see. Must go to Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, etc. You should also stop by Belgrade. Crazy parties over there. Hope you go and have a lot of fun.

Croatia is a very nice country to visit. I'm not Croatian I'm from Australia but i have relatives who were born there and live in Pule and Ilok....Pule is a lovely place to go and visit and also Dubrovnik.They are both by the Adriatic so you will really like that. I plan to go next year as i want to go visit my relatives whom i haven't seen in a very long time...
