I believe in it..its so hard nowadays to find a true friend! I would give anything to find someone who is honest, trustworthy and down to earth...Is there anyone else out there wishes they had a true friend by thier side through thick and thin? Hopefully God will bless me with a friend oneday!

True friends are not dream-slashers...
They are there through thick of things and good things. Those friendships are out there for you. Be patient with yourself, be kind to you. I have three friends from grade school... one in Hawaii, one Calif, one Colorado. We all NOW keep in touch by email. sometimes we do 3 way conference calls - so much fun.But the question are they out there..oh you can count on it! Some friends touch your heart for a lifetime.

Yes most defenitely!.
One has many aquaintances in life but true friends a rare.
I am sure God will place that person in your path.
You appear to have the essence of a true friend which is a wonderful thing to bring into a relationship it is the tie that binds.

I know what you mean, its so hard to really find a true friend who wont backstab, you betray you, and hurt you. I used to belive in true friendships, but the truth lies, is there?? No theres no one in the world who could be a true friend. I gave up on beliving my friends because I've been backstabbed and tricked so many times it hurts. I ve lost hope but if there is i hope god will bless me as well.

My Dear, I hope you do to. There's nothing like it. You know they won't lie to you(even if you don't want to hear it), it's someone that always has your back, and they are there for you though it all. The good,the bad and the hurts you get though life. I lost, my best friend along time ago. She had a brain tumor. I offen think of her. Yes, I still miss her. But the fun that we had was worth the pain of loosing her. Thanks for the memoirs.....I only hope God will bless you with a BEST friend. I have 2 close friends now. But there will only one best friend.

yeah somedays i feel like that. that i had a true friend by my side through thick and thin times when i need somebody there. and hopefully God does bless you with a true friend.

Actually I am quite lucky that I do and it is so strange how we met... My boyfriend at the time (who is now my ex... JERK) introduced me to her as his "Best Friend" but I knew that they were more at a point in time. So we became friends and I later discovered that indeed they had gone out... Well he dumps me and her and I remain friends each day our bond growing stronger and one day he wanted to hook up with her again well this is what made her my best friend... She told him no I could never do that to Tanya (me). And I felt so good because she knew I still loved him.
Sorry for the long story but the real answer is yes I have been in the same position as you longing for a confidant... Good luck hun!

Hopefully.I have a true friend who can be irritating but it is still good to know someone is there for you no matter what.Do you know u can also have a true friendship with god maybe thats why u dont have one yet.

indeed i do believe in TRUE friends i have had one for 10 years now and it is great! you WILL find a true friend one day!
