University of Colorado - Boulder. Not only is it a great school academically, featuring teachers who are Nobel Laureates, and some of the greatest research programs in the country, but it is an amazing place to live. Noting beats waking up every morning and walking across campus and looking up to see the Flatirons. This view is especially beautiful right after a snowfall. The fog (low cloud) that was hanging over the tops of them slowly lifts to reveal the red rocks lightly dusted in white powder. The entire campus is built with the stunning redish rocks popularly mined in Colorado, and they give the university a unique look. The culture of the students is also tons of fun. We certainly know how to party and great parts of Boulder draw you away from the campus with their unique charms. The Pearl Street Mall is a short distance from the school and features many fabulous restaurants and cute shops. The Hill is a much closer location to campus and features great dining options for the student budget. The extra-curriculars at the school are so various and offer almost everything.... from rowing to hockey to debate to the business club, you are sure to find your niche. Its also really close to the mountains so its just a short drive to the ski hills.

The University of Boulder is considered a Public Ivy and it offers a great education in a great location. There is always something to do no matter the weather. Its almost always sunny and mostly warm. Its a choice that can't be beat.
