Yes, I have the DVD and it does show the scene with the monkey
Barbossa is laying "dead" on the pile of gold when the scene begins--(dont want to ruin it anymore than that, if you havent seen it)
You have the 2-Disc Collector's Edition, right??--That seems to be the only version out
