Usually when I get this headache, I wake up with it. Tylenol, advil, and aspirin won't help.
Its like the headache may be caused by my brain not getting enough oxygen. Anyone else experience this or know about it?

First, stop taking the tylenol, Advil, Asprin. Especially if it isn’t helping! Really it’s just going to make the headaches even more frequent if you take it so often.

If you are waking up with the headaches, you could be clenching your teeth at night while you sleep.

Late afternoon/evening headaches are usually from stress and tension. Keep drinking lots of water during the day and move/massage/stretch your neck. Stress really builds up in your upper back and neck and create headaches.

You can ask your dentist about night clenching. That was the cause of my sisters’ morning headaches and they gave her a little rubber tooth guard to wear at night and she no longer gets those headaches.
About the night headaches, you can ask your doctor. There are many causes and treatments for those.

Ice on your head and/or neck really help. No heat, always ice!!! My physical therapist taught me that.

A headache really drains you, so I understand the excessive yawning. The day after a killer migraine, forget it. Even if I feel better I’m in bed pretty much all day if I can.

Hope you feel better!!!

I get it all the time. my conclusion is sinus pressure, tho I don't have a long narrow face..I use a nasal spray which I'm told is not good for me, but it works. I also use 12 hour pseudoephedrine with tylenol. if these don't work, try excedrin migrain.that's really helpful, too.

heard this on the radio today; most headaches are caused when we relax, something to do with blood vessels contracting, they say to do deep breathing exercises a couple times a day, and plenty of movement or exercise. mine usually come sat. or sunday morning.

You might have sinus problems. It happens to people who have a long, narrow facial structure.

Otherwise, it sounds a lot like a migraine.
