I'm a naturalist, I don't like people hunting!!!
But if is for survival I agree...
Make a hole in the ground and cover it with leafs... then put a bunch of bananas hanging right over the center of the hole only about 2 feet ( 1 meter ) from the ground and wait...
Every single animal ( including carnivorous ) like banana... the birds coming and hanging on your bunch of bananas will only make it more attractive!!!

whattya doing in the jungle in the first place? Spread honey all over yourself and sit back and watch. The ants will come first, then the anteaters then whatever eats anteaters....

FIRST OF ALL THE JUNGLE HAS NOT GOT A LOT OF ANIMALS YOU WOULD WANT TO TRAP .AND IF YOU DID TRAP THEM IT WOULD BE SMART TO TRY A PIT WITH SPIKES IN IT .... IF YOU HAVE TIME TO DIG IT ....LOL
THERE ARE LOTS OF SNAKES
