Here are the facts:
Period while pregnant- no
Bleeding while pregnant- yes and it is not a good thing.
This is why it is not possible to have your period while pregnant: the bleeding while you have your period is due to the uterus discarding the uterine lining it does not need as you are not pregnant. You can however, have spotting or bleeding while you are pregnant. If there is enough blood to make you think you have your period, that is very worrisome-call your midwife or doctor immediatly.

Yes...some women have periods throughout...there is also a rare condition in which amniotic fluids are low or not present at all.
I am not sure how it happens. I have a friend who did not know she was even pregnant until she went for a routine physical in July. She learned she was full term and had been having periods all along.
She and her baby are now part of a study because there was no amniotic fluid when she delivered.
You might want to google it to see what information you can learn.

It can happen, yep. It's not all that common but still it does. How terrible though...I mean when I got pregnant it was like a "bonus" to not have a period. It's kind of not fair when you have both.

Not if it's a true genuine period which means flushing the egg out of the uterus.
