I act and do things that I never even did as a teenager. I am abrasive but yet over confident. I feel restless as if there is something missing in my life. My husband says I am going through a very early mid life crisis. This is driving me nuts. It has been this way for the past 4-6 months with some weeks being worse than others. Any ideas?

You never really got to be that fun loving twenty something, and now after three kids and "middle age" closing in fast, you feel it. I was 21 when I had my son, and now at 33 I am trying to figure out somethings myself.

Not knowing what you need or want to do can make you feel crazy. I feel like a chunk of time went missing trying to raise a young child, and now that I am gaining some personal time for myself to feel younger again, it seems like a mid-life thing to others.

Hang in there and let your husband watch the kids, and use that time to take a class in anything, and do something you like. Pamper yourself mentally, and you won't feel crazy just liberated.

After three kids, it's probably a hormonal imbalance. Talk to your doctor, a simple blood test will let you know. There are also other options to choose from. If you are a stay at home, that can greatly affect your moods. The confidence comes from knowing you can do it all, the restlessness is due to your life being idle for so long and the abrasiveness comes from the resentment you could have deep down for missing out on life. I'd start with the easiest and most obvious...a trip to the doctor. No sense in re-evaluating your entire life if it's not your fault. And honey, you are much to young to have a mid-life crisis.

You stopped being a child too soon, became a mother ,wife and all the responsibilities that come with it, it's very normal to feel like that..but unfortunately that was a choice you made ,i guess!..People rush into things not thinking of consequences and this is exactly the result..
A real and sincere advise? It's just to put your feet back to earth, get an activity to use your energies positively, don;t try to get into adventures and hurt the people around you and then regret it, have fun with the one family you created...you can't turn back time, so the best is to look for ways to live the one life you have the best you can..good luck

You are getting randy or really feeling unfocused like I have before. You may feel that life has really awarded you what you feel you have earned.Sometimes you have to be abrasive to get through life, but don't let it hurt your relationships with other people. Are you doing what you wanted to do in school? Are you leading the life you wanted to now? Go back to school, find something you really love to do and just do it!

You might have developed a chemical imbalance . Or you could just be bored and need a creative outlet of some sort. Is it possible that you could be pregnant? That will whack out your hormones.

Maybe you should try counselling to find out what's making you anxious. You might be going through depression or turning bipolar. Also while on therapy, try to keep yourself busy and do things that you enjoy.
