UPGRADE for goodness sake to XP! 98 was nothing more than a bug fix for 95, which basically sucked. So your 11 years behind the times here- Vista is coming soon, and XP is getting old. Catch up, you'll be glad you did. And just STEAL a copy! F Microsuck!

Since Win 98, Microsoft has brought out newer and newer versions of its OS - ME, 2000 and XP - now going on to VISTAS.

It is 8 years since Win 98 and all Browsers/Websites have upgraded their softwares as well. This applies to most of the other Softwares also.

If your Computer's hardware can take the XP (sufficient Processor Speed, Memory, Hard disc capacity) you can change to XP.

Otherwise you should think of a new machine.

I assume you're using Internet Explorer.

Click on Tools, then Internet Options, then the Advanced tab.
Scroll down to the Multimedia section and look for the Show Pictures option. If the box is not checked, then check it. Click OK at the bottom.

If the box was already checked, I don't know. (But I do know that upgrading to XP doesn't have anything to do with this. This is an IE issue.)

Download Firefox and try it on the same sites as IE. If they both have the problem, the proble is with the sites.

It is possible you may have accidently disabled images - check your settings too.

UPGRADE UPGRADE UPGRADE! you need to upgrade your computer system to windows xp....because you have an older interface, somethings are outdated and need to be updated, by doing this, either you need to upgrade your comptuer to anything higher than 98,thats why you may be having troubles, or it might be your video card....that may be out of date also
