ok so on here i have read a lot of stuff that says if your hymen breaks then you're not a virgin. however, i have read that not every girl even has a hymen. besides, can't tampons break it? i mean, if it was just a matter of that then i wouldn't be a virgin, but i've never had sex. but anyway, back to the point, do all girls have a hymen?

Intercourse determines your virginity, not the condition of your hymen. So many things affect your hymen in your life, that it ceases to be a factor by the time you are ready for sex.

It is a fact that a girl can be born without a hymen. Sometimes a tampon can break the hymen but not necessarily so with all girls. It depends on how thick the hymen is. Just because the hymen has been broken that does not make a girl a non-virgin. I fell on the bar on a boys bike when I was approx.10 years old & later in my life my Mom told me that I probably broke my hymen. That is an accident. I still considered myself a "virgin"!!!!

Yes, all girls have a hymen, and yes, tampons can break it. A broken hymen does not 'tell' whether someone is a virgin or not.

I'm pretty sure all girls do have a hymen. If it broke, sometimes it can grow back, but sometimes it won't so you won't have one anymore. Yes tampons can break it, and it can also break if youre an athletic type of person. You can break it doing the splitz and things. so it's not a very accurate way of telling virginity.

Yes, we do. But even the simplest thing can break it. Plus, your virginity isn't determined by the hymen alone. There are many ways to check if intercourse took place.

I would think that we all have a hymen, that is what I understand. I also understand that it can also be broken by riding a bicycle. So, I wouldn't worry about it!!!

Yes yes and yes...All girl have one and A tampon can break it...anything can. Riding bikes, masterbation, or anykind of strain to the body.
