I have seen a movie on Henry Ford called the Man and the Machine, and near the end, he suffers a stoke while wacthing a film called Death Stations, a movie regarding concentration campswith his servant in the background, who comes out later. I don't know why he would be watching that stuff, do you know why? I think he was anti-semitic

He was anti-Semitic, but the movie took liberties on how he died. He did not suffer a stroke while watching a movie. I answered your question before about that. Remember it is fictionalized.

Here is what I can tell you about his anti-Semitic ideas. In 1918, Ford's closest aide and private secretary Ernest Liebold purchased a newspaper called The Dearborn Independent. Ford took this newspaper and started to spread his ideas about the Jews. By 1920, he was fully anti-Jewish. The newspaper published Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, which proved to be a forgery. Ford kept saying that it was real and proved the Jewish conspiracy against the world. Later the Independent published a 4 volume series called The International Jew, the World's Foremost Problem."

Hitler even revered Ford for his ideas and is actually mentioned in Mein Kampf. Hilter even based the Volkswagen on the Model-T. Hitler even said "I shall do my best to put his theories into practice in Germany." At the German consulate in Cleveland, in 1938, Ford was bestowed the Grand Cross of the German Eagle. It was the highest award that was granted to foreigners.

Ford closed the Independent in 1927 after San Fransisco lawyer Aaron Sapiro brought a libel lawsuit against the Independent. Ford denied even knowing about the content of his newspaper.

Ford was also associated with Gerald L.K. Smith. Smith was a big anti-Semite. He actually said that Ford a bigger anti-Semite than himself.

So, does that answer your question. Remember the movie took extreme liberties on his death. I guess what the movie was trying to do was to make Ford realize his mistakes. He died from the horrors of what happened. Maybe the movie was saying that is was poetic justice. In real life, he died of cerebral hemorrhage in his sleep. He had a stroke in 1938, which he did not die of. Go to the link below and quick thinking I am lying about what I say. The movie is based on fact, but has been fictionalized.

You may have heard that he was anti-Semitic, and it possibly may be true, but do we ever know the deep recesses of a man/woman's mind?
I think it's possible he questioned his beliefs and it's amazing how one can be curious about being enlightened even when taking a strong stance.
