The American Media does what its pay-masters or executives ask it to do, it's that simple.
It's the same thing as why the coverage of the Iraq 'War' was so different in the US as compared to even the UK.
Having a bombing campaign is very unlikely to get rid of a group of people who specialise in urban warfare since they live among everybody else, not like a regular army in barracks. Bombing people can either turn them against the targets, or against the bombers.
Bottomline, Israel has quietly achieved a buffer zone, cut from Lebanese land, where they want International forces to be stationed. Chances are, that was their aim, not getting rid of Hezbollah.
On the other hand, Hezbollah was, as to be expected, not destroyed, and they are even likely to have more sympathisers.
The only real losers are the Lebanese civilians. Those who lost friends, relatives, those whose houses and livelihoods were destroyed... I doubt you will find in depth interviews and analyses of these people on mainstream prime time US media.

I see this as a David and Goliath thing. Israel has had all the sophisticated weaponry supplied and supported by the USA, while Hezbollah has been working with a few outdated rockets. Not even guided missiles. It's what happens when you are defending. Israel is not defending - it is attacking. Hezbollah is defending its homeland, and has been for the last fifty years against attacks and kidnappings by a country whose people believe that they are the chosen few, and better than anybody else in the world.
As far as Fox is concerned, I wouldn't believe a single word they say or picture they show. They are just a mouthpiece for the Zionists, owned by Zionists, and always following the Zionist agenda, as is the case with most of the mass media.

My family works with people who travel to Israel and Lebanon on regular basis, even before this war.
My great uncle was, until just a couple years ago, the united states ambassador to Lebanon.
We know very well what happens over there in this family, and i promise you, as grim as it truely is, its honestly the lebanese who continue to shoot themselves in the foot.
I dont believe Israel ever claimed to be flushing Hezbollah officials, they have been targeting their known whereabouts, and their baises, but the truth is, and has been for decades, that Hezbollah uses the Lebanese people as shields.
The do things like hide their weapons in homes, and have day cares in their head quarters, as insurance in the media.
Its sickening that these Lebanese people have no government to represent them, let alone provide them protection from an organization that so willingly uses them for their own purposes and military gain.

Palastine=2 Tribes-Joshua was told by GOD to destroy.
Joshua destroyed all but 2 and it is the 2 tribes of ESAU that r carrying on this WAR.
