Can you fly while pregnant?

Question

I wanted to know if you can fly while pregnant? im 3 months pregnant and im going to be flying in like two months or sooner?i heard its not safe from a friend but my motherinlaw says its fine???

Lots of people fly while they are pregnant, right up until about 7 or 8 months. My daughter flew when she was 8 months pregnant, though at that stage you should probably check with your midwife or doctor.

it should be fine, it's not recommended that u fly before 3 months and after 7 or 8 months in between is usually considered fine.

Ask your doctor. They should not have any real problems with you flying until 7 or 8 months and even then it is because you could start labor along way from home. My wife and I flew to Ireland from the US when she was 6 mos. and doctor was not concerned. But again discuss with your doctor.

Yes it is ok for you to fly. It becomes dangerous when you are in the late stages of pregnancy and that is because of the risk of labor.
