Its a strong explanation, so in the sense that strong explanations "work" its a kind of cognitive occurence.

Is it important whether it happens if it doesn't occur as a cognitive occurence? Doubtful.

Does evolution matter if our reality isn't as real or unsynthetic as we believe? Not as much.

Is evolution an important concept in considering chronical reality, whatever its manifestations? Surely.

Evolution, whether it really occurs in a systematic way or by suffering or chance, allows us humans to extend our idea of progress so that it has a broader significance, so that the special progress that we make is on top of the totem pole. Even within a religious system we can choose to believe that God is perfect, and thus that humanity has a special role in still BECOMING perfected.

That's about all I have to say.

You may find it weird but I have found out (at least according to my own observations) that the theory of evolution may have been true.
Scientists say that our ancestors are the simpliest organisms such as bacteria and the like. They evolved over a period of time and became... 1st:plants, then we have the 2nd:animals and from them came the most intelligent kind - the human being.
If we are going to consult the bible, it seems that they coincide and agree on one thing - chronology. First, God created Earth, then came the plants, the animals and the last....human.
To sum it up, our two major sources of beliefs apparently agree with each other, so what's the reason for keeping rooms for doubts?

I believe evolution occurs because people change over time. If you look at your mom's and your grandmother's pictures, you can see how different people look from generation to generation. Science even proves that wisdom teeth used to be very important to the cave men for making tools and eating certain foods. However, since we no longer need our teeth for tools, wisdom teeth come in different and sometimes, cause problems. As a result, many people, including myself have them pulled. People now, even walk more upright than cave men.

No, it doesn't - In fact evolution theories are so baseless on the strength of any so called "evidence" that most scientists seriously have their doubts as to the plausible workability of them. Many of their colleagues have already abandoned them entirely.

Unfortunately this is not mentioned in our public school science & biology classes. Nor is it brought out in our colleges & universities.

Nazism & Communism leaned heavilly on the evolution theories, thus demonstrateing that the theories have more social than scientific purposes at their core...

Your detail question isn't very clear, but in answer to your main question, yes, evolution really does occur. Evidence is in that we are evolving (as a species) even as we sit here on Yahoo.

Not. Do you BELIEVE in the Bible from Genesis to Revelations? Do you really? Open your mind and be as free to receive the Greatest Book as truth as well as the evolution theory. Please don't tell me you have read the Bible from front to back. These are not just words , They are Life. Try it on for size

Yes, I think that evolution occurred, evidents of that is shown everyday by human societal behavior. We are social animals pretty much, inherited by apes.

Evolution exists however it is most pronounced in Liberals. Many republicans are against conducting scientific research (stem-cell) because they are afraid the results would only prove this theory.

It's been observed on smaller scales in laboratories, and we have clear and obvious fossil records showing different variant species related to man going back tens of thousands of years.

So, yes.
