Definately! if you're not outgoing it's a good way to start. if you push yourself to do things you wouldn't normally do, maybe you can meet more people and have more chances to be bold when talking to them. it really works, people notice when someone is "on top of their game", plus, the crush might actually like you, so i say go for it ;]
