I would have to say that it is because the Republicans have a majority on the entire government, all three branches. When Clintons impeachment proceedings happened in 1998 I believe but can't be for sure that Republicans were in control or not, I think they were though. If that is true than you could see why these members of the Grand Ol Party wouldn't want to try and impeach one of their own. If you ask me it all goes back to that fateful day that I really don't like to bring up, well more after that than anything when the President spoke for all Americans and decided to go after the terrorists.
Of course since then he has gone on to do things that were on his own agenda, and it would seem to me the media has been his biggest ally aside from Tony Blair. He gets crazy media coverage that makes him out to be a Ghandi or Mother Teresa fighting the terrorists of the world, in the hearts of Iraq (that last I knew didn't have any of these WMD's he so adamantly said they did). Yes Saddam was a creepy character that did do some ethnic cleansing or whatever you want to call it, and we are now prosecuting him for that.
But suppose for a moment if you will that the rest of the world gets sick of the things that America is doing, pretty much being the bully of the world if you ask me. All of a sudden they invade us and do what we have done to so many other countries for most of our existence as a country. If you ask me that is the only way he will be impeached. I know I veered off the original question but I saved it at the end.

you could no longer impeach a President only given which you sense he's doing a foul activity. There must be an unlawful act dedicated. at that component there might nicely be an Impeachment technique interior the living house of Representatives. If the living house impeaches the President the Senate then has a tribulation to do away with the President from workplace. President Clinton, who grow to be impeached via the living house and left in workplace via the Senate is a competent occasion of ways the two facets can selection.

Because liberals do not control washington and he hasn't broken the law. You can't impeach someone because you don't like him. Or else every single president since 1920 would be impeached.

Do you actually know what it takes to impeach a sitting president? Even if they do get impeached they can still stay president! Look at what happened to Clinton. He got impeached and it big fat did nothing.

It's not going to happen. We have to put up with the idiot a couple more years yet! If Bush had his way, he WOULD rule the world, even tho he is severly lacking in the brains department and couldn't wipe his butt without someone telling him where it is~

the democrats don't have the votes to start the process & the republicans haven't turned on him yet, things could change after the mid term elections this fall, I think Bush has committed enough crimes to be impeached.

Due to Bush's National Stupidity Act! Although it is good to see his ratings down under 30%.... an all-time record low for any President.
