I just bought a Mac, and I have a wireless router used on a PC previously. How do I get the Mac to start connecting to the internet?

I have an Apple AirPort -- but I know that you can use other wireless routers if they use the same technology: "any 802.11b- or 802.11g-compliant product" (from the MacBook user's manual http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/MacBook_13inch_UsersGuide.pdf )

To improve your chances of getting helpful responses, ask these questions on the Apple Discussions boards. Here's the one for Internet + networking with the MacBook: http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1171
