My primary reason is A) rack up points but in a good way not by giving silly or stupid answers to collect 2 points on each question but by thinking seriously and doing my best to answer questions as well as i can 'cause i know that in addition to the 2 points will give me 10 points.
The reason that is following is B)express my opinion.Yep sometimes i don't care about points i just wanna let people know what i think about a specific topic and give them the opportunity to let me know if that is good or not by rating it.Well even if sometimes that doesn't tell the truth.
In fact my reasons using yahoo answers are listed exactly like you did from A to J .

c, e, i, g,and i feel with my experience if one is asking why not give what u know.. ..take it or leave it. points mean ****.. i express my self all the time.. i dont need advice.. i need money hahah , i llike to see why people put it out there.. for why.. keep me out of trouble.. as well.. its like a private view sounding board .. i think its very therapuetic ..
