and on the same day I took a drug test and they told me that they would call me back after they recieve the results, how long does it usually take to get the results of a drug test??

there would be no reason for me failing it, because I've never done any drugs in my life.
as for those people who told me to "smoke a fatty" or telling me that I might of failed, CONGRATULATIONS you are now being reported for "Gaming for Points"

Nervous? Usually takes a week. The lab can turn it around in a day or so, but by the time HR gets the results and gets around to calling you it should be about 5 business days. Now go relax and smoke a fatty! The test is over!

Usually if the company offering the position has you go through a seperate company just for drug screening, they will send that out as to protect your identity ETC and it should be resulted back in about 3-5 days, mattering on the company doing the testing. The testing company will only call you if there is a 'problem' and will want to know what meds you have taken recently.
As far as the job interview goes, was there a 'closing date' for the position? If not, call them 1st thing tuesday or wednesday to follow up from your interview.

It really doesn't take long - but u have to consider the week end. Um lets see Wednesday, give it to friday then call to see if your result have arrived - if not u can ask when they would - they usually have some idea

(if they ask u to take a drug test changes are they want u to work for them, i just hope u past - good luck)

Probably a week, but could take longer, depending on the HR department more than the lab.
But why not call and ask? It's a good way to remind them of your name and confirm your interest in the position.

It can take as little as an hour or as much as 3 weeks depending on the test, how busy the lab is and how many others they interviewed.

1 or 2 days, however if you failed they are required to tell you.
Not the specifics but that you were screened and failed to meet our requirements etc...
