I gave 250mg (every 3 days) of Progesterone on her back and she develop some swelling (water retention)?

I am just afraid since she is 14 weeks pregnant and needs progesterone shots regularly. doctor has prescribed her Augumentine. is that fine,and how many days it takes to recover as its paining her lott.

The augmentin is fine and is an antibiotic. It will help with the redness and the swelling since those symptoms might be related to a localized infection from the injection. That is why the doctor prescribed it. The antibiotic will take about 3 days before you see a significant improvement.

However, apply ice to the injection spot for 20 minutes 3 or 4 times a day and that will help a lot with the pain she is having.
