They could send a mobile trainer around third world countries teaching people how to sell their native crafts through E-Bay.

Why on Earth would that be the responsibility of Ebay?
They can make humanitarian contributions if they want to, but to improve the living standards of third world countries requires more than what they've got in their coffers.

It puts everyone on a broader market. I think that the world becomes closer to the American market and spreading the $$.
