p = m*v

baseball 0.14 kg * 7 m/s = 0.98 kg*m/s

golfball 0.045 kg * 16 m/s = 0.72 kg*m/s

The baseball

P=mass * velocity
for golf ball
16*0.045=0.72 kg m/s (1)
for baseball
7*0.14=0.98 kg m/s (2)

(2)>(1)
baseball has greater momentum

momentum = mv

golf ball

momentum = mv = (0.045*16) = 0.72

baseball

momentum = mv = (0.14*7) = 0.98

baseball has a greater momentum

momentum: p = mv
----
baseball:
v = 7 m/s
m = 0.14 kg
p = mv = (7 m/s)(0.14 kg) = 0.94 kg-m/s

golf ball
v = 16 m/s
m = 0.045 kg
p = mv = (16 m/s)(0.045 kg) = 0.72 kg-m/s

the baseball has the greater momentum

momentum = mass * velocity

golf ball: 16 m/s *0.045kg = 0.72 kg*m/s
baseball: 7m/s * 0.14kg = 0.98kg*m/s

The baseball has greater momentum.
