When you buy new clothes do you wash them or do you wear them first then wash them?

it all depends on the person some people wash them so that they don't smell like new but I just wear them first then I wash them.

I usually want to show them off right away, so I wear them before washing.

I do wash my clothes first - but I tend to wash them first in cold water - just because you don't know who had worn them beforehand -whether THEY took a bath- etc.

I would wear them frist...jeans wear them like 3 times before you wash them.

I wash them first. I don't know what chemicals they put in the cloth to make it keep its shape or hold dye or repel insects in the warehouse or God knows what else, I don't know for sure that the dye isn't going to run, and I don't know who else has tried the clothing on before me.

I'll often wear them first...unless they are so stiff with sizing that they aren't comfortable...if I buy 2nd hand clothing (ebay, Goodwill, consignment shop) I almost always wash before wearing...

Wash them. It destroys the begging letters from 3rd world country manufacturers which are stiched into them!

Wash them!!!! Those clothes are touched by many people before they land in the stores, and then you don't who tried them on before you bought them!!!!!!!!!!
