take like a cup of water and a toothbrush, gently clean them with that and dry it off. then use some shoe cleaner from foot locker (costs like $5) on them and they should be good to go.

(use the brush cap to get dirt off the soles...don't use the brush cap on the leather)

EDIT:

Shoes? Why didn't you say that? You can run them through the wash as well. Take the laces off.
