When you are trying to remove stains, try not to use hot water, that can actually set the stain. First, use a mild detergent (dish soap or shampoo) is good, than rub with a clean brush (like a toothbrush). If that does work, try ammonia, if you don't have ammonia, try windex (make sure it has ammonia in it, some formulas don't) and let it sit for a minute and rub with a brush.
As always, make sure you test the solution on an inconspicuous spot to make sure it doesn't make things worse.
Best of luck.

Spray it with hairspray, then wash it. If the spot is still not out, apply a small amount of bleach pen to the spot (since it's white anyway) and wash it again.

Hot water is not good. It sets the stain. Try Oxyclean.
