I am sure they could, there are lots of references to live mortals visiting hell, the earliest one i can think of was Orpheus but I am by no means an expert (I vaguely remember something about Gilgamesh as well). Dante, Milton and any number of others all refer to Heaven and hell as physical places.

well they Don't exist in a physical place. I like Dante Satan flew out of heaven like a comet Hitting earth with such force that he pierced the earth to the center creating the pit of hell and at the exact opposite of the earth the mountain of purgatory they existed in the Arctic regions.
Hell is easy to reach before dying. There was a boy who searched the world asking about heaven and hell. He went home and asked his uncle who he loved dearly Uncle tell me about heaven and hell? WHAT A STUPID QUESTION. His uncle said that's the stupidest question I have ever heard YOU are an imbecile. You stupid little boy. The Boy was shocked his heart was broken he stood there and all the anger and fear coursed through his veins He hated his uncle he wanted to hit his uncle. Just then His uncle said. The anger and hate you are feeling now is hell. He then gave the boy a hug and said THIS is heaven. The boy then understood.
If your heart your soul is a place well then Heaven and hell exist IN it. Where we choose to live is how we react to the world.

Well, I've been saying how I have body and soul separation experiences and I believe that while I was a child, and even an adult I was able to separate the soul from the body and mind (keeping guards up I suppose-almost alike in a neutral state) while awake-life and circumstances being the hell
While I slept and sleep I also have body and soul separation experiences and it is these experiences that has given me many many images that are pretty cosmic. Not the images themselves but what they hold, the information relating to time and energy-these images are relating to many different topics too, like mythology, religion science time bla bla bla.......really, if you wanna believe it you should take a look in my 360 because it is all very complicated to sit here and put into some kind of order-rather chaotic really ;)

Maybe, if Hades is really at the bottom of the sea guarded by Neptune, a dive team could go down there and find out. I believe Heaven exists at your local Baskin Robbins.

No I don't think so. Although some believe that in the life we live on earth we are actually living in Hell and the trials we survive are preparation for the life we will lead in Heaven.

noo. because when u die, u are no longer in the physical realm. when u die, u become an entity such as a spirit, or a ghost. when u go to heaven, u are no longer in a physical body. so therefore, heaven cannot be a physical place. if it were a physical place, think about it, u wouldn't be able to see anyone, for there will be no physical bodies. spirits are invisible to the physical eye..
how do i know this? because when we die, we leave our physical bodies behind....

If they did sure you could. That's why there are so many stories about them.
They however don't exist in a physical place so its a moot point.

Theoretically........yes.
If these were physical places, weather here on our planet or another I'm sure that someday someone will find them.
