Or is it really hit or miss? Im not even talking Yankee tickets, just a regular game. Oh, and what time would I need to get there?

It is not impossible. It is not hit or miss. It is very possible. Yes they say if you get there two hours ahead of time. Last month I took my two boys and we didn't have Tickets. I live in Florida. We waited outside Gate C three hour and they released two hundred tickets. We paid 27 dollars each. We even sat next to each other. I say this because I tried to get tickets two months ahead of time, on-line and what a hassle that was. I could not find any seats together on-line and they were very expensive. Needless to say I could not even get the tickets to go though on-line. I was told every game they have about two hundred tickets that corporations don't give away. so they give them back and Fenway resells Them. I'm not sure if they would have any for Yanks games though. Not sure how soon you want to get in line but when we got there three hours ahead. We were about 45th in line. We got in and the game was great, it was my boys first time there. we had fun. Good Luck!

I have checked out the website for the red Sox, because I will curious about tickets myself. I am not a Red Sox fan, just curious. It seems hit and miss. I have seen some games sold out and others with a few tickets left. I would assume it would be best to show up at least 2 hours before the game. That is when they do start selling tickets at most ball parks. All I can say is good luck.

fenway has sold out every game since like the 2003 season, so dont plan on going to the ball park at like 4:00 when the start time is 7:00 and buy a ticket
the only way i think is if you buy tickets from a scalpper

im from boston, i tried that a couple times. i was unsuccessful though =( .. you could always try..check and make sure the games not sold out before you go.

Just get them from stubhub.com or any of the multitude of sites just like it. Otherwise, you can always try a scalper, just hope he's not a cop.
