I'm 27 now and single, but definitely looking for someone special to settle down with. Most of my friends are single as well so there's plenty of fun to be had. But, if you had the chance to relive you late twenties again, would you rather be single or married?

That is, if you were already married by 27, would you still choose to be married at that age versus being single.

I got married at 18 and had 2 babies by 24 I'm now 27 and if I had to go back and do it again. If it weren't for my beautiful sweet kids. I would most definitely enjoy my 20s as a single woman

Single-- I married a few months b/f I turned 28. It was right at that time and all of the signs were there. I know that God must have had a part in it b/c it seemed so perfect.
Now I think that I would be single if possible b/c marriage is stressful. It does have its rewards, but it just depends on the couple to continually strive for their relationship to work. It takes effort and communication. That is the hardest part and yet it seems too simple. You never know until you have been there. Good luck and enjoy your independence.

I was married at 22 and divorced at 27. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would still have been married. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for my past. I would have been smarter about things, and may still be married. I am ready to settle down again and I'm still in my late 20s.

I got married when I was 23, so by my late 20's I was already married. lol Now if you ask me if I could do my early 20's over, I'd have a different answer. I really would love to go back and finish school.

Marriage is something I always said I wasn't gonna do but did anyway. I'm separated now but because I had the idea I could change so could he yeah that doesn't work. I loved the companionship but not the fact we had nothing in common.I think Id marry him again but it makes me look at life differently now more for what it is and not what it could be....Basically I'm saying its not bad but understand that person for who they are no expectations except to be happy....

Married people always wish to be single again, and single people wish they were married....
Of course I wish I was 27 and single. Damn...I would be in the newspapers!

I was married at 30 first child at 33....I waited because I asked the same question to a friend (my Grandfather) and he told me " If I had to ask...Then I was not ready". So when I got to a point in my life where I didn't ask if I was ready I got married........But never stop looking for that right on..He'll be there for you..

I had my kids in my late 20's. I'm glad I was married, but now I'm 46 and divorced and remarried and they are almost grown up. If I had to do it over again, I don't know.

I was three years into my first marriage at 27. If I could go back I would have listened to that little voice that told me to RUN.
